INFORMATION
Hey there! My name is Natalia and I’m a Almaty based photographer specializing in portrait and headshots.

I have born in Moscow and grew up in Helsinki, where I was aligning myself toward a career of a linguist. After having kids and start my expat journey with husband I picked up a camera. Photography was the natural extension of my curiosity for people and their stories.
Whether I’m photographing my family, friends or client, I’m always bringing the same energy and commitment to create vibrant, authentic al, and emotional photographs.

I shoot in various studios or on location of your choice.
I specialize in working with non-models and take pride in crafting exceptional portraits for inexperienced individuals. Creating a comfortable and relaxed environment is crucial to me. I never expect you to arrive fully prepared, knowing how to pose expertly in front of the camera.
Before the photo session, depending on the assignment, we may or may not have had a chance to meet and brainstorm ideas. Regardless, I always allocate some time before the session to chat, address any lingering questions you may have, and outline our approach for the shoot. As we transition into the shooting phase, while you’re getting accustomed to being photographed, I’m simultaneously adjusting my lighting setup and familiarizing myself with the space.
I make it a point to show you the photos early and frequently during the session, even if some shots may not be flattering—we can always share a laugh over those. Together, we explore which angles and expressions work best for you, progressing through the shoot until we’ve captured images you’re genuinely happy with.
Moreover, I’ve noticed that many people feel a sense of relief when they realize I don’t expect them to perform for the camera. Instead, I offer specific instructions, such as slight adjustments in posture or direction to ensure we achieve the desired results. This collaborative approach often leads to more authentic and compelling photographs.
